Looking Forward to Your Hunt
We want to congratulate you on choosing to join us, below you will find all pertinent information regarding your upcoming trip to Alabama!

Introduction:
Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to share this farm with you during your hunt. There was a lot of information provided in your Contract. This Fact Sheet is a supplement to that, not a replacement for it. I recommend you do a quick review of the Contract. Please zero your rifle at 100 yds. These animals have grown up inside the high fence yet retain their natural instincts, making them a worthy opponent. They are very sensitive to sound, smells and sight of anything out of place. We take every opportunity to ensure your success, but please keep in mind, this is a hunt not a shoot.

What to expect:
Day one: Arrive shortly after 12 o’clock and get checked into your accommodation and get a chance to look around the place and change clothing as necessary. I recommend that you have lunch prior to your arrival, if not there will be snacks available. At the preference of the hunter, we will verify your guns zero and then prepare to head out to the blind. Expect to be at the blind no later than a 1 ½ - 2 hours prior to sunset. Dinner will be served upon your return from evening hunt.
Day two and three: Waking up will be your responsibility. Your guide will pick you up in the side by side at an agreed about time usually 1 ½ - 2 hours prior to sunrise. Breakfast will be on your own. Food will be available in the kitchen. Brunch will be served shortly after our return to the lake house from the morning hunt. There should be time to relax and perhaps do a little fishing prior to the evening hunt. You will leave for the evening hunt approximately two hours before sunset. Dinner will be served following your return.
Day four: The morning will start out as day two and three did. You can anticipate a short hunt that morning to provide you with time to get your things together before your departure. Lunch will be around 11 o’clock.
After the hunt:
After you take your trophy, with the time remaining you are welcome to fish in the lake or perhaps pursue an additional trophy / cull animal or simply relax.
Hunting Permits and Licenses:
Depending on what time you arrive on the first day we will hunt that night so your licenses should start that day. If you know you’re arriving after sunset, start your licenses on the following day. Alabama only has three (3) day licenses or a ten (10) day license. Your hunt will be conducted over four daysnormally. So, your options are having to possibility purchase two (2) three-day licenses or just going for the ten (10) days upfront. The difference between a single three-day (3) and ten-day (10) is around $80. You can purchase your permit and license on line see below.
In addition to your hunting license, you will need to purchase a “Baiting Privilege” permit.
